Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care in Delaware, Ohio is seeking an organized, people-focused Hiring and Operations Manager to lead caregiver recruiting, onboarding and day‑to‑day operations. You will handle posting to first shift, stay compliant with background checks, and coordinate training to keep caregivers engaged.

You will work with the owner to improve agency processes, support scheduling and coverage, and assist with billing, payroll and client intakes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hiring and scheduling experience in home care or a similar field.
• Experience with payroll, billing or QuickBooks, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional manner with caregivers and families.
• Strong organization and follow-through, and comfort with HIPAA and client privacy.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, interview and hire caregivers, from the first posting to the first shift
• Run background checks, reference checks and onboarding so every caregiver is ready and compliant
• Coordinate caregiver training and keep caregivers engaged so they stay with us
• Support scheduling and last-minute coverage so clients are always cared for
• Help with billing, payroll and record keeping, and with new client intakes
• Work directly with the owner to improve how the agency runs
