VRC Companies, LLC is seeking an ROI Specialist I to process medical records requests in the VitalChart department. You will ensure HIPAA compliance, safeguard PHI, and coordinate with ROI leadership to maintain service quality for healthcare clients.

Responsibilities include logging requests, performing quality checks, and handling invoicing while maintaining accurate records and strong communication with team members. On-site role with potential cross-training across facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) required; degree preferred.
• Prior ROI fulfillment experience desired.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Basic HIPAA knowledge and familiarity with privacy practices is preferred.
• Experience with EHR/EMR platforms and Windows/Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and requestors.

Responsabilités

• Process ROI requests for healthcare clients with accuracy and timeliness.
• Verify patient authorizations and HIPAA compliance for each request.
• Log and track requests in ROI software; perform quality checks.
• Retrieve and route records to authorized entities; maintain PHI confidentiality.
• Communicate with supervisors about issues affecting timelines or quality.
• Maintain organized records, invoices, and supplies; assist with backlog coverage.
