Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an experienced HIM supervisor within the Patient Revenue Management Organization to coordinate workflows and oversee staff in a centralized revenue cycle environment. You will supervise the team, align with policy, and ensure timely, accurate patient data processing and billing support.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in healthcare revenue cycles, RHIT/RHIA preferred, and experience with Epic EHR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RHIT or RHIA strongly preferred.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycles and HIM functions is expected.
• Knowledge of Epic EHR and HIS systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflows and monitor team performance.
• Supervise and train HIM staff and ensure accuracy of patient data and payments.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal requirements and organizational policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
