Job summary

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking an HIM Operations Supervisor to lead the Revenue Cycle Team and the medical records department. The role supervises workflows, staff, and EHR integrity, and ensures accuracy, security, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include managing coding/chart completion, AR days, denials, and privacy/security governance, while coordinating with the Coding Coordinator and RHIA/RHIT.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressive HIM department experience.
• 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• RHIT/RHIA preferred within leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflows, personnel, and technical operations in HIM.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and security, and regulatory compliance across the department.
• Collaborate with Coding Coordinator and RHIA/RHIT to maintain chart completion and coding accuracy.
