Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an HIM Scanning Manager to provide enterprise-wide leadership for Scanning Operations across UCHealth's hospitals and clinics. The homebase is wherever you are located, with a strong focus on process improvement, standardization, efficiency, and advancing AI and automation within HIM workflows.

The role requires strategic vision, data-driven decision making, and the ability to lead large teams through ongoing operational transformation in a complex healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Preferred coursework in Health Information Management, Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy.
• Certification as RHIA or RHIT through AHIMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations for an assigned area or function in HIM to align with departmental and organizational objectives.
• Oversees staffing, scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and staff relations, including performance management.
