Job summary

Qualifications

• RHIT or RHIA certification or active enrollment in HIM program toward RHIT/RHIA.
• 2+ years leadership in Health Information Management or healthcare operations.
• 2+ years monitoring performance, quality, or SLAs.
• 1+ years coaching employees and giving feedback.
• 1+ years using MS Office in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of HIS practices and healthcare privacy/records.

Responsibilities

• Lead HIM staff to meet service, quality, productivity, and financial goals.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs; develop corrective action plans when needed.
• Ensure accurate patient health information workflows via audits and QA.
• Drive patient experience improvements with measurable interventions.
• Oversee HIM and revenue cycle performance improvement processes.
• Develop and maintain policies to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Interview, onboard, schedule, and develop staff while promoting retention.
• Collaborate with clients, physicians, and departments; provide feedback.
• Manage budgets, reports, and resources; track milestones.
• Lead projects with plans, milestones, and clear results.
