Job summary

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks an experienced Health Information Management Program Manager to oversee health information systems across the tribal healthcare setting in Tucson, AZ. The role ensures data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance to enhance patient care and outcomes.

You will supervise staff, manage data governance, and drive system improvements while collaborating with clinical and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health information management, healthcare administration, information technology, or related field.
• RHIA or RHIT certification required; minimum 5 years in HIM with at least 2 in supervision.
• Experience with EHR systems and health data management in healthcare, preferably tribal setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and assign work, conduct performance reviews, and enforce policies.
• Manage accurate collection, entry, and storage of health data and EHRs.
• Lead implementation, optimization, and maintenance of health information systems.
