Job summary

The Pueblo of San Felipe invites applications for Director of Health Informatics and Clinical Systems who will lead strategic planning, RPMS/EHR administration, and implementation of a Tribal-owned EMR ecosystem. You will work with IHS, Tribal IT, and healthcare partners to ensure secure, integrated data governance, interoperability, and analytics that support population health and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health informatics, health information management, IT, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in health informatics, public health or related discipline.
• Minimum seven years in healthcare IT or informatics leadership.
• Experience with RPMS/EHR systems and IHS collaborations.
• Supervisory or project leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for health IT and secure data governance.
• Oversee RPMS and EHR administration, configuration, and optimization.
• Lead tribal EMR development and health IT ecosystem planning.
• Manage budgets, contracts, vendors and technology resources.
• Ensure interoperability and compliance with HIPAA and federal standards.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with IHS, tribal IT, and external partners.
