Job summary

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe Health Services Division seeks a Pharmacy Manager to plan, execute, and oversee the pharmacy’s operations, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care for PYHSD patients. The Licensed Pharmacist will dispense medications, counsel patients, and lead staff with discretion in daily responsibilities.

Requirements include a Pharmacist license, 3 years’ experience, and 5 years’ management experience.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as a Pharmacist.
• Five years’ management experience, preferably in health care or pharmacy.
• Current Pharmacist License in at least one state.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (AZ).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee the pharmacy’s operations to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care.
• Dispense medications and counsel patients as a licensed pharmacist.
• Supervise staff, assign tasks, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and controlled substances handling.
• Serve as liaison with providers, patients, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide drug information and therapy recommendations to patients and care teams.
