Job summary

Lead staff, drive performance, monitor KPIs, and support regulatory readiness. Travel between sites to provide onsite support and collaborate with physicians and leadership to close documentation gaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of HIM experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• RHIA or RHIT certification is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead HIM staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Oversee day-to-day HIM functions across facilities (medical records, release of information, amendments).
• Drive consistency in HIM tools, processes and best practices across sites.
• Partner with leadership and medical staff to address documentation gaps and improve record completion.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports and status updates for leadership.
• Support regulatory reviews and accreditation readiness; travel between sites for onsite support.
