AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks an experienced Manager of Health Information Management (HIM) to lead the HIM function, ensuring accurate medical records, regulatory compliance, and strong collaboration with clinical leadership. The role requires oversight of EHR operations and adherence to HIPAA and CMIA guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in HIM, 5+ years in HIM, and EPIC experience. RHIT/RHIA credentials are highly preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Administration or a similar field preferred.
• RHIT or RHIA credentials are highly preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records and automated medical record systems.

• Plan, organize, direct, and control day-to-day HIM operations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMIA, and release of information guidelines.
• Oversee EHR usage, quality of medical records, and regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and other departments.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Administration

RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) and/or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) preferred
