Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System seeks a Manager of HIM Documentation Compliance to lead documentation compliance, ensure timely medical record completion, and govern forms across the health system. You will oversee deficiency management, documentation auditing, and physician suspension processes to safeguard compliance with Medical Staff Rules and Regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HIM or related field, RHIT or RHIA certification, and 5 years of HIM experience with 2 years

Qualifications

• 5 years HIM experience with 2 years supervisory/leadership required.
• 9 years HIM experience with 2 years supervisory/leadership may substitute for education requirements.
• Demonstrated proficiency in health information management and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Lead documentation compliance, medical record completion, and forms governance across the health system.
• Oversee deficiency management, physician suspension processes, and documentation auditing.
• Manage forms governance, lifecycle management, and related compliance activities.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, Medical Staff, and administrative leaders to strengthen documentation practices.
