Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is seeking an experienced guest service professional to join our team as a Night Auditor on the overnight shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role requires strong record keeping, accounting understanding, and excellent guest service skills.

Responsibilities include end-of-day audit procedures, cash balancing, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance. Prior Hilton and PEP PMS experience are highly desirable; strong MS Office and communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of hotel front desk or night auditor experience required.
• Hilton experience and PEP PMS experience highly desirable.
• Must be guest service oriented with excellent communications.
• Familiarity with MS Office and internet platforms helpful.
• Understanding of accounting and reporting functions required.
• Open availability throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day audit procedures and balance daily transactions.
• Balance cash receipts and audit daily activities.
• Prepare the front office for the next shift and reset the day’s business.
• Handle switchboard, reservations, and guest requests with housekeeping and maintenance.
• Act as manager on duty when needed and attend front office meetings.

The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is looking for an experienced guest service professional with a flair for hospitality and a proficiency in record keeping and reporting to join our team as a Night Auditor. This position works the overnight shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is a flagship property of Shamin Hotels, Central Virginia's largest hotel management company. They assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests. They also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities.Essential Job Functions:Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.Performs and attributes all required audit reports.Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.Prepares the front office for the ‘A’ shift and resets the day's business.Answers the switchboard, completes room reservations and works with housekeeping and maintenance to fulfils guest requests.Enters banquet and other charges and communicates with banquet, sales and accounting departments.Acts as a manager on duty when necessary.Participates in front office meetings and trainings.Shamin Hotels is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
