Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates powered tools and hand tools to perform maintenance activities such as ditching.
• Assists with placement of traffic control devices to set up a maintenance work zone.
• Serves as a flagger to safely direct and control traffic in maintenance work zones.
• Operates small equipment including dump truck or forklift.
• Picks up litter, debris, and dead animals.
• Operates dump truck with snowplow and sand spreader to remove snow/ice from highways and bridges.
• Assists in emergency and inclement weather operations; may require extended hours or 12-hour shifts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
