Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains heavy equipment such as front-end loader, backhoe, excavator and other machines for road maintenance.
• Performs manual labor tasks including ditch cleaning, pothole patching, drainage work and paving-related duties.
• May instruct crew in safety practices and assist in setting up work zone traffic control.
• Responds to emergencies and inclement weather operations; may work outside normal hours.
