Top Hat is seeking a Sales Representative to manage a college and university territory, building relationships with professors and driving adoption of our digital textbooks and SaaS platform.

You will travel to campuses across the Tampa Bay area for in-person engagements, balancing fieldwork with virtual demonstrations. The role requires 40-50% campus time, with peak seasons demanding up to 75% on-site activity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a sales role.
• Experience selling to professors on campus is highly preferred.
• Ability to travel 40-75% of time and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Find, create, facilitate, and close new business opportunities in assigned accounts.
• Represent and sell the full Top Hat suite to professors and department leaders.
• Position Top Hat’s value using a mix of inside and outside sales techniques.
• Work with Customer Success and marketing to ensure a great customer experience and maximize revenue.
