Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Marketing Specialist AE to evangelize Salesforce Marketing solutions for Higher Education. You will work with an Account Team and as an Individual Contributor to drive self-generated opportunities across the Salesforce Digital Tech Stack.

You will manage the full sales cycle, target accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to exceed quotas while ensuring customer success and retention. This role requires travel and a strong industry presence.

Qualifications

5+ years of outside enterprise software sales experience.
Digital Marketing sales experience and experience with relevant marketing technology.
Prior experience with the full Salesforce Digital Technology Stack.
Proven track record of sales excellence as both IC and team player.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Experience selling at the C-level is a plus.
Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Be the subject matter expert on how Higher Education uses Salesforce Marketing solutions.
Enable and empower the broader Account team on Salesforce Marketing technology.
Collaborate with Account and Territory teams to identify target accounts.
Create and drive revenue within a region and/or named accounts.
Generate opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting Salesforce customers.
Own the sales cycle for the Salesforce Marketing technology stack.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation.
Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting.
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention.
