Job summary

Salesforce Marketing Specialist AE will be a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Higher Education prospects, evangelizing marketing platform solutions that deliver personalized journeys across channels and devices.

As a quota-carrying sales executive, you will own the full Salesforce Marketing technology stack from prospecting to close, collaborating with account teams to generate revenue and exceed quotas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside enterprise software sales experience.
• Digital Marketing sales experience and relevant marketing technology is a must.
• Strong preference for prior experience with the full Salesforce Digital Technology Stack.
• Experience selling at the C level is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert on how Higher Education institutions leverage Salesforce Marketing solutions.
• Empower and enable the broader Account team on Salesforce Marketing technology.
• Collaborate with Account and Territory teams to identify target accounts.
• Create and drive revenue within a region and/or named accounts.
• Generate business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting.
• Own the sales cycle for the Salesforce Marketing technology stack.
• Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting.
