Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Higher Education Executive Advisor to lead thought leadership and strategic education initiatives for the education sector.

You will influence senior education leaders, craft compelling value propositions, and collaborate across AWS teams to drive transformational change using cloud solutions. The role requires deep higher education domain knowledge, executive leadership experience, and a track record of leading large-scale technology modernization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience developing and executing GTM strategies at large scale.
• Experience influencing leadership decisions at organizational level.
• 15+ years of education domain knowledge and proven change leadership as an education leader.
• Executive Technology Leadership Experience.
• 10+ years of enterprise-wide technology strategy and operations in state or local government.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Education & SLG Vertical team to drive overall adoption of the cloud through thought leadership.
• Provide coaching and guidance to education executives on strategy, technology, and governance to improve cloud readiness and adoption.
• Stay abreast of changes across the education market and shape trends into quantifiable solutions and thought leadership content.
• Help customers build business strategy and change management plans and guide operationalization.
• Present business reviews and escalate issues to senior management and identify roadblocks to customer success and AWS reach.
