Qualifications

• 5+ years of learning design, learning science, instructional design, educational psychology, or similar field experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) or improving finance/business tools and processes.
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
• Experience in administrative/technical leadership roles in a large university system or similar institution.
• Strong leadership with executive relationship-building and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for US Higher Education accounts.
• Establish trusted relationships with Presidents, CIOs, Provosts, and other senior leaders.
• Identify trends by researching budgets, funding programs, and regulatory changes affecting higher education.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for solution areas and tailored procurement approaches.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Partners, Marketing, and leadership to deliver value propositions.
• Represent customer needs in AWS product roadmaps for higher education use cases.
• Leverage higher-education ISVs and partners to accelerate adoption and co-sell revenue.
• Deliver business reviews to senior leadership with pipeline and market insights.
• Represent AWS at EDUCAUSE, Internet2, and other industry events.
