Job summary
Covista, America's largest healthcare educator, seeks a Student Finance Systems Programmer/Developer to deliver system, reporting and analytics solutions aligned with business needs. The role serves as the primary liaison between business and technology, translating requirements to technology groups to produce effective solutions.
The candidate will collaborate with business units, support system programming, and define scope to optimize processes in student finance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years IT/software development business analysis experience.
- Proficient in SQL coding and GCP usage; strong .NET (WinForms/WPF) experience with C#/VB.NET and SQL Server.
Responsibilities
- Acts as IT liaison to the business and translates requirements into technical specs.
- Develops requirements and specifications for enhancements to existing applications.
- Collaborates with project teams to define, develop, acquire and implement new software applications.
- Maintains user documentation and delivers test plans and results.
- Ensures data standards and supports reporting initiatives across units.
- Partner with developers to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly applications.
