Covista is seeking a Student Finance Systems Programmer/Developer to deliver system, reporting and analytics solutions aligned with business needs. This role partners with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable applications and maintain data standards.

You will work on system programming, documentation, and collaboration with vendors, with a focus on improving efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives in higher education finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 2+ years IT/software development business analysis experience.
• Proficient in SQL writing and coding; strong GCP usage familiarity.
• Experience with .NET desktop apps (WinForms/WPF) and SQL Server.
• Experience with CRM tools and SDLC in higher education environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops requirements and specifications for enhancements to existing applications.
• partnering with business and technology teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Participates in defining, developing and implementing new software applications.
• Maintains user documentation and supports testing and validation.
• Ensures data standards and supports reporting initiatives across units.
