Cengage Group is seeking a Higher Education Editorial and Learning Team member to craft impactful higher education learning materials and experiences aligned with our strategic vision and evolving customer needs.

You will lead competitive intelligence, drive content ideation with authors and experts, and develop documentation to support strong program execution, collaborating across functions to resolve content issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• Preferred: 2+ years in a related field.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI, CRM, and AI tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team's competitive intelligence gathering and content evaluation activities, collaborating with key partners to interpret findings into strategic recommendations and actionable insights.
• Drive content ideation with authors, subject-matter experts, and industry partners on select projects—grounded in market insights, currency needs, and Editorial Manager priorities.
• Develop and maintain strategic documentation, content tracking, and an author talent database that support strong program execution.
• Build and update competitive benchmarks to inform editorial strategy and decision-making.
• Serve as key contact for customer-reported content-related blocking issues, partnering cross-functionally to ensure timely and effective resolution.
