Job summary

Cengage Group seeks a Higher Education Editorial professional to craft impactful learning materials and experiences. You will align with strategic vision, work with authors, subject-matter experts, and industry partners, and manage competitive intelligence to guide editorial decisions.

You will drive content ideation, maintain documentation and an author talent database, and ensure timely resolution of content-related issues across teams, leveraging market insights and trends.

Qualifications

• BA or BS Degree.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Power BI, CRM and applied AI tools a plus.
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive intelligence gathering and content evaluation.
• Drive content ideation with authors and experts on select projects.
• Develop and maintain strategic documentation and an author database.
• Build and update competitive benchmarks to inform strategy.
• Coordinate resolution of content-related blocking issues cross-functionally.
