Job summary

Cengage Group in the United States is seeking a member of the Higher Education Editorial and Learning Team to craft impactful learning materials and experiences that align with our strategic vision and meet evolving customer needs.

You will lead competitive intelligence, drive content ideation with authors and subject-matter experts, develop documentation and an author talent database, and build benchmarks to inform editorial strategy and timely resolutions for customer-reported issues.

Qualifications

BA or BS Degree.
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities.
Strong project-management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
Excellent organizational skills supporting operational excellence.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead competitive intelligence gathering and content evaluation, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
Drive content ideation with authors and subject-matter experts on select projects.
Develop and maintain strategic documentation, content tracking, and an author talent database.
Build and update competitive benchmarks to inform editorial strategy.
Serve as the main contact for customer-reported content-related blocking issues and coordinate cross-functional resolutions.
