Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southeast is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage all aspects of payroll in a timely and precise manner. You will prepare, process, and distribute employee paychecks, while collaborating with HR and accounting to ensure data integrity.

The role requires 2+ years of payroll experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software, and a strong ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and answer employee questions about payroll matters.
• Process weekly payroll, including calculating hours, overtime, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
• Issue paychecks and manage direct deposits for employees.
• Maintain employee records.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies by reviewing past records and making adjustments.
• Evaluate weekly timesheet accuracy and contact employees or supervisors about discrepancies.
• Collaborate with HR to keep employee data up to date.
• Assist accounting with administrative tasks and financial reporting.
