Job summary

Planar Systems, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented HRIS/Payroll Administrator to manage HRIS and payroll processes within our Human Resources team.

The role focuses on maintaining data integrity, audit readiness, and accurate payroll processing across states, leveraging ADP WorkforceNow and related systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in payroll with HRIS experience, strong analytical skills, and solid communication to support HR staff and end-users.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a progressively responsible payroll position with multi-state payroll responsibility.
• Experience managing HRIS and payroll data with accuracy and compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HRIS system configurations, updates and maintenance.
• Process bi-weekly payroll ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws.
• Generate HRIS and payroll reports for management decision-making.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and benefits administration.
• Support year-end tax reporting (W-2/1095) for ACA reporting.
