Job summary

Osage Casinos in Ponca City, Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated line cook to support the Sous Chef by preparing hot and cold menu items according to recipes and safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining sanitation and assisting with prep to ensure timely, quality dishes.

Responsibilities include following recipes, portion control, FIFO rotation, and collaboration with kitchen staff to meet service demands while upholding high guest service and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Two years line or prep cook experience in high-volume restaurant.
• Understand general culinary knowledge.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and obtain gaming license.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Osage preference shall apply to all positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for service in sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows recipes, controls portions and presentation specs.
• Monitor food waste and prep levels.
• Maintain stocking levels for pantry, line and prep areas.
• Maintain rotation of items following FIFO methods.
• Prepare foods by frying, baking, broiling, sauté, steam and other methods.
• Contributes to a team effort and complete related duties as assigned.
