Job summary

firstPRO, Inc is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist in Philadelphia to manage complex client invoices from prebills through final submission. You will collaborate with billing attorneys and resolve billing issues to keep processes moving efficiently.

The role requires 2+ years of legal billing experience, a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, and familiarity with Aderant or Elite/3E. Proficiency with Prebill Viewer, E-Billing Hub, and Bill Blast is advantageous.

Qualifications

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple invoices and deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Aderant or Elite/3E preferred.
Familiarity with Prebill Viewer, E-Billing Hub, and Bill Blast is beneficial.
2+ years of legal billing experience required.

Responsibilities

Review and revise prebills in response to attorney requests using Prebill Viewer and Aderant.
Prepare and process high volumes of complex client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client-specific billing guidelines.
Coordinate required documentation and submit electronic invoices through EHub and other e-billing platforms.
Track rejected, reduced, or disputed invoices and take timely action to resolve issues or pursue appeals.
Respond to billing questions and collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal administrative teams.
Identify potential billing discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend solutions.
Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with special projects as needed.
Participate in onsite training and accommodate occasional overtime or business travel when required.
