First Interstate Bank is seeking an Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer to originate permanent residential mortgage loans via our Digital Platform, supporting the Kalispell, MT or Whitefish, MT branches. This fast-paced role handles inbound calls and online inquiries, with leads provided and a base salary plus per-unit incentive.

You will work with clients in a consultative manner to determine housing goals and loan options, convert leads to applications, and adhere to ATR guidelines while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years residential mortgage lending experience.
• Successful pre-employment screening including LDP/EPLS/Freddie Mac Exclusionary List.

Responsabilités

• Handle inquiries and leads from First Interstate Bank digital platforms, referrals, and self-sourced opportunities.
• Advise clients using a consultative approach, assessing housing goals and loan options.
• Convert leads to full loan applications with complete documentation.
• Set realistic expectations and follow Ability To Repay guidelines.
• Manage lead pipeline to meet KPI targets and ensure compliant origination.
