First Interstate Bank seeks an Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer to originate permanent residential loans via our Digital Platform, supporting the entire FIB footprint. This fast-paced, high-volume role offers a competitive base salary plus per-unit incentives and inbound inquiries from customers and branches.

You will engage clients in a consultative process, assess housing goals, review options, and guide complete applications through processing.

Competenze

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Pass pre-employment screening (LDP, EPLS, Freddie Mac lists).
Strong customer service skills and understanding of mortgage process.
Thorough knowledge of FHA, VA, RD, state bond programs, and conventional real estate regulations.

Mansioni

Handle inquiries and leads from FIB digital platforms (phone, email, website) and branch referrals.
Work with clients in a consultative selling approach, learning housing goals, needs and time frame, and recommending loan options.
Convert leads to full applications and submit documentation to processing team.
Set and maintain realistic expectations; follow Ability To Repay guidelines.
Obtain and analyze credit reports and lock rates as requested.
Manage lead pipeline with new inquiries to ensure KPI targets for ongoing contact.
Navigate loan origination system and ensure compliance with requirements.
