First Interstate Bank is seeking an Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer to originate permanent residential mortgage loans via our Digital Platform and support the bank's footprint in the Rapid City, Spearfish, and Sturgis area.

In this fast-paced role, you will handle leads, assess housing goals, and guide applicants through the loan process, with a base salary plus per unit incentives. A Bachelor’s degree and mortgage experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Strong customer service skills and thorough understanding of the mortgage process.
• Thorough knowledge of FHA, VA, RD, state bond programs, and conventional real estate regulations.
• Ability to analyze credit reports and explain implications.
• Experience with loan origination systems and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Handles inquiries and leads from First Interstate Bank digital platforms, branches, and referrals.
• Learns applicants' housing goals and recommends loan options.
• Converts leads to full applications and submits documentation.
• Sets and maintains expectations per Ability To Repay guidelines.
• Obtains and analyzes credit reports and locks in rates as requested.
• Manages lead pipeline to meet KPIs and maintain engagement.
• Navigates loan origination system and ensures compliance.
