First Interstate Bank is seeking an Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer in Rapid City/Spearfish/Sturgis, SD. You will originate permanent residential loans via the bank’s Digital Platform, handling inbound calls and online inquiries across the FIB footprint.

The role requires consultative selling to assess housing goals and present loan options, guiding applicants through the full process with accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years experience in residential mortgage lending to include handling of complex loans preferred.

Aufgaben

• Handles all inquiries and leads from First Interstate Bank digital platforms (phone, email, and website) as well as direct branch referrals and self-sourced opportunities.
• Works with clients in a consultative selling approach, learning housing goals, needs and time frame, and recommending loan options.
• Converts leads to full applications and submits complete loan documentation to processing team.
• Sets and maintains realistic expectations; follows Ability To Repay guidelines.
