First Interstate Bank is seeking an Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential loans via the bank’s Digital Platform and support the footprint with inbound calls and online inquiries. It’s a fast-paced, high-volume role with base salary plus per-unit incentives and opportunities for growth.

You will handle leads from digital channels, advise clients on loan options, complete applications, and maintain an active pipeline to meet performance targets across Kalispell or Whitefish

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 4–6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years experience in residential mortgage lending to include handling of complex loans preferred.

• Strong customer service skills and thorough understanding of the mortgage process.

• Handle inquiries and leads from the bank’s digital platforms, referrals, and self-sourced opportunities.
• Learn housing goals and recommend loan options in a consultative selling approach.
• Convert leads to full applications and submit documentation to processing team.
• Set and manage expectations; follow guidelines for repayment and investor requirements.
• Obtain and analyze credit reports; lock rates per customer request.
• Manage lead pipeline to meet KPIs with active follow-up.
• Navigate loan origination system and ensure regulatory compliance.
