Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook to join our Albuquerque, NM correctional kitchen team. You will work in a fast-paced environment, preparing meals with emphasis on quality, portion control, and scratch cooking.

You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, manage food storage, and follow safe handling policies and recipes to ensure consistent, high-quality meals for inmates. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a quality, high-volume setting with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
