Summit in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking an experienced cook to join our Corrections division, working with a motivated kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment to prepare high-quality meals. As a full-time onsite role, you will ensure quality, portion control, safe handling and creative presentation while adhering to recipes.

The role emphasizes attention to detail and customer service within a correctional facility context, with opportunities for growth in a nationally recognized food service

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
