Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and HACCP knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year of related cooking experience in high-volume or fast casual dining environments.
• Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and policy documents.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions.
• Frequent exposure to water, chemicals, sharp utensils, and hot environments.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and directions to prepare soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other items.
• Tastes products, estimates production needs and requisitions supplies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• Maintains food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Operates kitchen equipment and measures ingredients.
• Stocks, dates, rotates and checks product temperatures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
