Responsibilities include matching invoices to POs/receipts, maintaining organized records, and providing courteous vendor support. This contract role offers standard business hours, with pay between $24.00 and $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in an invoice-heavy accounting environment.
• Familiarity with collections and general accounting processes.
• Comfort working with a small, collaborative team.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining electronic and paper accounts payable records.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review invoices for accuracy, required documentation, and appropriate approvals before processing.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and other supporting documentation to ensure completeness.
• Assist with preparing invoices for scheduled payment in accordance with established processes and timelines.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records for audit readiness.
• Respond to routine vendor questions professionally and route more complex issues to the appropriate team members.
• Support the accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable administration in a high-volume environment.
