Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead high-voltage transmission line and substation construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will work with field leadership, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver safe, on-time, and budget-conscious utility infrastructure projects.

The role requires 8–10+ years in the field, strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and communication skills; PMP certification within 60 days is expected.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in transmission and/or substation construction.
• Proven experience managing utility-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage construction methods, sequencing, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Execution: Manage transmission and substation construction projects from award through final turnover.
• Oversee pre-construction planning, scheduling, procurement, construction execution, commissioning, and closeout.
• Partner with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality construction.
• Conduct constructability reviews and assist with estimating and work planning efforts.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce safety culture and OSHA compliance.
• Manage Financial Performance: Develop and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, and productivity tracking.
• Drive Schedule & Resource Planning: Develop and maintain detailed schedules; coordinate manpower and equipment deliveries.
• Serve as Client Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders; manage scope changes and reporting.
