Job summary

DEPCOM Power seeks a High Voltage Project Manager to lead HV substation and interconnection projects across the Midwest portfolio. You will drive performance by overseeing EPC contractors, reviewing engineering deliverables, and ensuring seamless execution from engineering through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering background with HV design, construction, and contractor management experience. This is a remote-friendly role within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience reviewing HV engineering drawings, studies, and construction deliverables.
• Knowledge of substation design, construction practices, protection and control, and interconnection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV substation and interconnection projects from engineering through commissioning.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and key deliverables.
• Influence EPC contractors, engineering consultants, utilities, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Lead technical reviews of substation packages and equipment specifications to ensure quality and constructability.
• Review and provide direction on HV design documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Champion safe execution by complying with standards and electrical codes.
• Monitor performance with contractors and suppliers and resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with teams to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status and recommendations to senior leadership.
