Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Manager to join our Project Delivery team with the Midwest portfolio.

You will lead HV substation and interconnection projects for utility-scale renewables, guiding EPC contractors and reviewing engineering deliverables from design through commissioning. The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering background with HV design, construction, and contractor performance experience.

Qualifications

• HV substation, transmission, interconnection project experience.
• Experience reviewing HV drawings, specifications, studies, and deliverables.
• Knowledge of substation design, protection systems, and interconnection requirements.
• Experience managing EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV substation and interconnection projects from engineering through commissioning.
• Drive project performance by managing scope, schedule, budget, risk and deliverables.
• Manage and influence EPC contractors, engineering consultants, utilities, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Lead technical reviews of substation engineering packages, protection and control designs, equipment specs, and drawings.
• Review HV design documentation, studies, and deliverables throughout the lifecycle.
• Champion safe execution by ensuring compliance with standards and electrical codes.
• Monitor contractor performance, resolve issues, and maintain contractual requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to mitigate risks and protect schedule and budget.
• Communicate project status and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support procurement for HV equipment and materials while guiding technical decisions.
