DEPCOM Power, a Koch company, is seeking a High Voltage Project Manager for the Midwest portfolio. You will lead HV substation and interconnection projects, managing EPC contractors and reviewing engineering deliverables from engineering through commissioning. The role supports remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience managing high‑voltage substation, transmission, interconnection, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience reviewing HV engineering drawings, specifications, studies, and construction deliverables.
• Knowledge of substation design, construction practices, protection and control systems, and interconnection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of HV substation and interconnection projects from engineering through commissioning and closeout.
• Drive project performance by managing scope, schedule, budget, risk plans and key deliverables.
• Manage and influence EPC contractors, engineering consultants, utilities, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Lead technical reviews of substation packages, protection and control designs, equipment specs and drawings.
• Review HV design documentation and studies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion safe execution by ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to contractual/technical requirements.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate progress and mitigate risks.
• Work with teams to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies protecting schedule and budget.
• Communicate project status and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support procurement of major HV equipment and materials while guiding technical decisions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across DEPCOM's substation portfolio.
