Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a High Voltage Substation Superintendent to lead field execution on large-scale HV substation and transmission projects. You will oversee subcontractors and drive safe, compliant installation from prep to energization, while aligning with contract and schedule milestones.

You will manage lookahead schedules, control budgets, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience with high-voltage electrical systems including substations and interconnection scopes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
Experience managing subcontractors and enforcing contract scope, schedule, and quality.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage subcontractors performing HV substation and transmission work with safety and quality at the forefront.
Oversee the full HV construction lifecycle from site prep through energization readiness.
Maintain safety, environmental, and quality standards across all HV scopes.
Develop a 3-week lookahead schedule and align with project milestones.
Monitor schedule, budget, and contract compliance while mitigating risks.
Verify work and materials align with drawings and contract requirements.
Provide daily progress, risk, and performance reporting to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Civil, Mechanical, and PV Electrical teams to optimize sequencing.
Coach field teams and promote PBM principles and continuous improvement.
