Job summary

Conductor Power in the United States seeks an experienced High Voltage Substation Project Manager to lead HV substation scopes for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will oversee planning, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.

You’ll coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and utilities, manage RFIs and design changes, track costs, and deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive HV substation construction experience.
• Three+ years managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Experience delivering substation projects through construction, testing, commissioning, turnover.
• Experience coordinating utility-scale solar, BESS, or generation interconnection preferred.
• PMP certification and OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation and HV scopes from handoff to commissioning and turnover.
• Develop execution plans, budgets, schedules, staffing, and procurement strategies.
• Manage sitework, foundations, grounding, structures, equipment, buswork, and protection scopes.
• Coordinate interfaces between substation, MV collection, generation tie line, and interconnection.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and design changes; manage RFIs.
