Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Field Services team in Atlanta, GA. The role offers progression from Level I to Senior based on experience, with duties spanning testing, maintenance, and commissioning of high‑voltage equipment at substations.

As part of a large utility service provider, you will develop expertise through on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and exposure to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field (AS/BSc)
• Basic knowledge of HV electrical systems and schematics
• Ability to read electrical drawings and one-line diagrams
• Willingness to progress through Level I–Senior roles

Responsibilities

• Perform HV substation testing and commissioning under supervision
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports
• Lead Level I field activities and mentor junior staff
• Ensure safety procedures, PPE, LOTO and NFPA 70E compliance
