Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Field Service Technician for our Albuquerque, NM office. The role spans Level I to Senior, with responsibilities in testing, maintenance, and commissioning of high-voltage substations and related equipment.

You will work under supervision and progressively lead smaller field assignments, reporting to the Field Supervisor. As you advance, you will perform complex tests, interpret diagrams, prepare reports, and mentor junior staff while adhering to NFPA 70E and OSHA

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical testing/commissioning experience for higher levels.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field environments.
• Proficiency with safety standards (NFPA 70E) and OSHA basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning on high-voltage equipment.
• Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
• Lead field activities and mentor junior technicians.
• Interpret drawings and troubleshoot test anomalies.
• Maintain safety procedures and PPE compliance.
