Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an Engineering Manager - Substation to lead engineering across HV substation projects. You will oversee design teams, coordinate with field operations, procurement, and stakeholders, and ensure quality and compliance with relevant standards.

The role reports to the Engineering Director and emphasizes mentorship and technical excellence. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in the electric utility industry, a P.E.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• P.E. license is required.
• Expert understanding of major substation components.
• Experience managing personnel.

Aufgaben

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, including planning, design and closeout.
• Supervise engineers, designers, and support staff; provide guidance and evaluations.
• Ensure projects meet budget and schedule with cost-effective solutions.
• Lead quality control and enforce NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI standards.
• Collaborate with designers and project teams to develop solutions.
