Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks a Supervising Engineer to lead the detailed design of high voltage substations for large-scale projects. You will manage engineers, designers, and support staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while complying with industry standards.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and a P.E. license, with 7+ years in utility or EPC roles. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in electrical engineering; ABET-accredited program.
P.E. license is required.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Review vendor documentation and coordinate with internal sourcing.
Prepare BOMs, develop concepts, provide SLDs and layout plans.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors on technical interfaces.
Plan design reviews with teams and report technical risks to management.
Review FAT and ITPs; address deviations and implement corrective actions.
Answer technical site questions from an engineering perspective.
