Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Area Sales Manager to support the Southeast region in North America, combining technical expertise with commercial acumen to promote high voltage breaker solutions and expand customer partnerships.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, and product management to drive growth, identify opportunities, and deliver customer-focused technical and commercial solutions for Hitachi Energy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of sales/marketing experience.
• Electrical industry experience, high voltage breaker exposure preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and customer relationship abilities.
• Willingness to travel ~30%+ as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and business development for high voltage breaker solutions.
• Promote products through meetings, webinars, presentations, and seminars.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals with bid and proposal teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and emerging market segments.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Support customers with technical expertise and application guidance.
• Participate in customer discussions, clarifications, and site visits.
• Develop sales forecasts and help achieve revenue, order, and profitability targets.
