Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) High Voltage Breakers.

You will drive business expansion across the North American market, combining engineering knowledge with commercial insight to deliver impactful energy solutions and build strong customer partnerships. This role requires presenting technical solutions, engaging with customers, and collaborating with diverse teams to develop winning sales strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
• Strong technical knowledge with ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel 30% or more.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across new and existing customers.
• Deliver technical expertise on GIS high voltage breaker solutions.
• Lead customer presentations, webinars, and product seminars.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned to customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning sales strategies.
• Analyze market trends, competitors, and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Travel to customer sites and support project and specification development.
